New year....new dreams :)

First off, Happy New Year!!! I hope this year to be the beginning of great things in addition to learning more and more about photography. Lately, I've wanted to carry my camera around and take pictures of everybody and everything. I'm always looking for an opportunity to take pictures; and, as I’m just beginning to understand exposure, lighting and the capabilities of having different lenses... (just to name a few things I've recently been reading/researching about) all I want to do is practice, practice, practice. Even when I go out for a walk with my husband I bring my camera along just to see the effect of different lighting scenarios. As was somewhat the case today : ) It has been sunny and warm the last few days so before the weather changes I wanted to take full advantage so I took Brooklyn out for a little session. Here is my chunky monkey aka boo boo (daddy's nickname for her, lol). Your opinions and comments are welcomed!
